The property is situated in the forest east of Osensjøen in Trysil. The area is well known for skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, bicycling, boating and the use of kayak or canoe. During the summer the lake has become a very attractive area for activities of many sorts. Beautiful beaches invite you to go swimming.
Originally it was built as a schoolhouse, but was later refurbished as a holiday rental house, with dormitory bedrooms. Today we offer 40 beds in 10 rooms, but we can arrange additional guest beds in a bigger dormitory upstairs, where we have a multipurpose hall. Here we have a piano and a small stage. We endorse using the house for cultural activities, but it can be used for meetings, parties as well as lectures.
We have set the house up for self catering. So you bring what you need of food and drink, and make your own meals, dishes, cleaning etc.
If needed, we can help with ordering food at the shop, put you in contact with caterers, or even find kitchen staff that you can rent.
The price: We have seasonal variations, depending on the time of year, and the number of people.
So please contact us for more information. Off season is cheaper.
